Australia's Bendigo hosted its annual Easter Gala Parade on 5 April 2026, drawing tens of thousands of visitors and locals. Falun Dafa practitioners from Melbourne and Sydney participated again this year, presenting traditional Eastern cultural performances that became a highlight of the celebration.
Over one hundred practitioners organised into more than ten themed groups, departing from View Street at 12:30 pm. The TianGuo Marching Band opened with Falun Dafa is Good, followed by banners, fairy performers carrying Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance scrolls, and a giant replica of the Zhuan Falun book.
The parade featured exercise demonstrations, an elaborate dharma boat decorated with lotus flowers, fan dances in crimson traditional dress, a golden dragon performance, Vietnamese conical hat dancing, fairy formations, elaborate floats, waist drum performances, and Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance flag processions.
“The parade was wonderful, very beautiful. We come every year. The golden costumes and the decorative boat float were especially stunning.”
