The Hurstbridge Wattle Festival on 31 August 2025 drew thousands of residents and visitors to Melbourne’s outer north-eastern suburbs, with golden wattle flowers providing a beautiful natural backdrop to the spring celebration.
Falun Dafa practitioners demonstrated the five meditation exercises, distributed informational materials, and offered paper lotus flower crafts for children. Danielle Sousa, a company manager, said the practice sounded “very appealing” and that she planned to “learn further,” noting that people seek “more natural living methods” and ways to achieve “inner and outer harmony.”
