On 10 March 2025, the Melbourne Falun Dafa group made their first-ever appearance at the Ballarat Begonia Festival, one of Victoria’s most beloved annual celebrations. The festival, which began in 1953, showcases the remarkable begonia collection cultivated by the Ballarat Botanical Gardens and draws visitors from across the state and beyond.
The group performed in the parade for the first time, featuring dharma boats, exercise demonstrations, fairy formations, waist drum performances, fan dances, dragon dances, and conical hat dances — becoming a standout attraction of the day.
